THE holiday event kickoff in Uptown Roxboro is fun for everyone of all ages and is not to be missed. This is one of Roxboro’s largest celebrations and it begins in the afternoon (usually around 4pm ) with activities starting at the Person County public library and by 5:30pm there are events and activities happening all the way through Main Street as far as the Kirby Theater. There is a hay ride, barrel train rides for the kids, performances, music, snacks and treats and so much more……usually, even a little snow for that holiday magic touch!
