Born in the heart of Creedmoor, North Carolina, we opened our doors in December 2020, right in the thick of Covid. Against the odds, the community welcomed us with open arms, and we’ve been thriving ever since.
It all started with Pamela Bullock, the heart and soul behind our kitchen. She brought together our family’s time-honored recipes—born from countless gatherings filled with feasting, laughter, and togetherness—and turned them into something special for everyone to enjoy. Growing up, we’d come together multiple times a month to cook and connect, and that’s the spirit we’ve poured into Tru Soul Food. What began as a family affair has grown into a business that welcomes all, keeping that same warmth and flavor at its core.
