Thursday, December 4 | 5:30–8:00 PM
The most wonderful time of the year begins in Uptown Roxboro with Jingle on Main, our annual holiday celebration hosted by the Uptown Roxboro Group! Join us on Thursday, December 4th, for an evening full of festive fun, shopping, and community cheer.
Businesses throughout Uptown will be open late with special promotions, giveaways, and holiday treats—the perfect opportunity to get a head start on your gift list while supporting local shops.
As you stroll along Main Street, you’ll be greeted by the sights and sounds of the season: snow gently falling, hayrides, and barrel train rides for kids. Enjoy live performances, festive décor, and plenty of holiday spirit around every corner.
The fun begins early at the Person County Public Library at 3:00 PM, where families can enjoy children’s activities and crafts. Then head to the Kirby Theater for a free showing of The Polar Express and more holiday fun for all ages.
Don’t miss the highlight of the evening — the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 PM at Merritt Commons. Gather with friends and neighbors as we light up the Uptown Christmas tree and officially welcome the holiday season to Roxboro!
✨ Jingle on Main is a free, family-friendly event celebrating community, tradition, and holiday joy. We can’t wait to see you Uptown!
