Experience the views and adventure of Hyco Lake in the fall by reserving your very own camp site. RV and Primitive camping is available, and for those more inclined to a Cottage, they have those as well. 2. Tour at Sunset Ridge Buffalo Farm

Sunset Ridge, located 35 miles outside of Durham and Chapel Hill, has been in the Pleasant family for 200 years. Follow the link below to make a reservation for a private narrated wagon ride through the pastures of Person County’s very own Buffalo Farm. Learn all about the Buffalo, and stay for a private picnic on the farm!

3. Stroll Through Historic Uptown Roxboro

Located in the heart of Person County, Historic Uptown Roxboro offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, services, and local brews. You can often find a food truck or live music while walking the streets, and the festive decorations are something you do not want to miss! 4. Warm up with Wine at Tunnel Creek Vineyards

One of two wineries in the area, Tunnel Creek is a fabulous spot to unwind and try their creations. Also an event venue, able to accommodate gatherings of various sizes, you can guess that the views over the property are wonderful to see. 5. Family Fun at B Squared Farm

Venture a few minutes outside of Person County for fall festivities at B Squared Farm. With social distancing enforced, you and your family will be able to partake in hay rides, try your skill at the pumpkin sling shot, pumpkin bowling, bean bag toss and much more. Opening day is October 3rd and you can find more information about the farm at the link below.
